Using Wasine

Introduction

When the program starts, the Options tab will be active and will have a red trayicon. To connect to the ICQ click the Connect button or use the option from the trayicon popup menu. In case of unsuccessful connection, the reason will appear written in the program's status bar. If the connection succeeds, the Connect button will transform into Disconnect, the trayicon will turn green and in the program's title will appear the nick of the ICQ user. The list of online users will be filled from ICQ, even with the users that are away or N/A.

To disconnect from ICQ, click the Disconnect button or the corresponding option from the trayicon menu.

When selecting an online user the images will be send to him/her and his nick will also appear on the title bar. If the user goes offline, it won't be available for send anymore. But in the moment it comes back online the option to send will be restored.

The Send button will be active when and only when:

- The program is connected to the ICQ

- An online user is selected for send

- An image is selected in the Image tab - or - a frame can be captured from a video in the Capture tab

When the Send button is clicked the image/captured frame will be packed in a special file named wasine.send and will appear in the ICQ send file dialog. The user must validate the ICQ file transfer, and the receiver must accept it.

When the transfer is finished, the image will appear in the program's main panel.
